Argentina advances with China in cooperation and investment agreements in green and digital economy – Télam

The Minister of Productive Development informed that a bill to stimulate the development of sustainable mobility will be sent to Congress shortly, with measures to promote the development of the entire production chain.

He also highlighted Argentina’s potential to meet the growing demand for metals that will drive the transition to non-polluting energy and the opportunities that Vaca Muerta represents for the development of natural gas as a transition fuel, until reaching a completely decarbonized electricity generation matrix. .

The meeting was also attended by the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Productive Development, Alejandro Sehtman; and the Undersecretary of the Economy of Knowledge, Mara Aplito.

“Argentina has a lot of space to take advantage of the growth and well-being process of the Chinese population. From natural resources and food to satellite and digital production, there is a lot of room to grow our exports and bilateral trade ”, highlighted the minister.

For his part, the ambassador highlighted the excellent state of bilateral relations and highlighted the minister’s participation in the opening ceremony of the next edition of the China International Trade in Services Fair (CIFTIS).

The meeting will take place in Beijing from September 2 to 7, with the theme “Development driven by services for a digital future”, which had had the participation of President Alberto Fernndez last year.
