Salvadoran Marcelo Arevalo (ATP 28 in doubles) and Dutchman Jean-Julien Rojer (ATP 29 in doubles) won the men’s doubles at Roland-Garros on Saturday.

Tare in series N.12, the two players came to the end 6-7 (4/7), 7-6 (7/5), 6-3 from the Croatian Ivan Dodig and the American Austin Krajicek at the end of a standoff of 3 hours and 1 minute.
Arevalo, 31, was playing his first Grand Slam final. He won the fifth success of his career on the ATP circuit and became the first player from Central America to win a men’s doubles Grand Slam.
Rojer, 40, adds a 32nd trophy to his list, which includes victories at Wimbledon in 2015 and the US Open in 2017.
The duo had already won, together, the Dallas and Delray Beach tournaments this year.
Dodig, 37, was aiming for a second title at Roland-Garros after 2015. He also won the Australian Open last year
Krajicek, 31, was playing his first Grand Slam final.
