Aleksey Arestovich, TKG speaker on Donbass, explained his statement about a possible revision of the geopolitical vector of Ukraine if pro-Russian sentiments intensify in the EU and the United States. About this he told in the commentary to Channel 24 on Monday 19 July.
“I have always been a supporter of the fact that one should not judge by the headlines. Because they are bright wrappers in the modern world,” Arestovich explained.
He stressed that he did not say anything about changing the Ukrainian position, but it was about rebalancing interests if they were surrendered. According to him, there are different forces in the West, but Ukraine’s allies are those who believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be able to tune in to contain China.
Arestovich also says that he had in mind the study of the experience of the countries of the East, namely China, which has vast experience in solving civilizational problems.
“If China builds a hospital in 10 hours amid the COVID-19 epidemic and many power plants, is one of the most developed countries in the field of artificial intelligence, are we interested in this experience? As well as the experience of Vietnam, Turkey, Azerbaijan,” summed up the TKG speaker.
