Ukraine cannot hit the Crimean bridge yet

Even if tactical missiles flew, they would not blow up the bridge support, says the adviser to the OP.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the President’s Office, said that it was useless to strike at the Kerch bridge. This was discussed in his interview Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin on Friday, June 17.
Arestovich noted that the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems would not reach the structure, and if tactical missiles did fly, they would not blow up the bridge support.
“In order to damage a support, a nuclear strike must be carried out there. … And the spans are restored very quickly, in a matter of hours. It is a very difficult story – to damage such an object as the Crimean Bridge. Of course, you can strike purely symbolically, damage a piece of canvas, but believe me , we have more important goals,” the adviser believes.
He clarified that “more fattening targets than the Crimean bridge” are the accumulation of Russian troops, headquarters, airfields.
In particular, Arestovich pointed out, “it’s easier to hit the troops that are moving across the Crimean bridge.”
We will remind, earlier Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Marchenko, who led the defense of the Nikolaev region, said that after receiving the weapons promised by the West a blow will be struck on the bridge leading from Russia to the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea occupied by it.
In turn, the Kremlin claims that Russian military guarantees security Crimea and the Crimean bridge.
