FAJAR.CO.ID, BALI — Arema FC achieved three winning points after beating Persis Solo with a score of 3-1 in the 22nd week of the 2023/2024 Indonesian League 1 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Regency, Bali, Saturday night.
The home team’s two goals came thanks to penalty kicks by Dedik Setiawan and Gilbert Alvarez, and another goal came from the feet of Charles Almeida.
While the only goal for Persis Solo was contributed by Ramadhan Sananta.
At the start of the first half which started at 20.00 WITA, the visiting team Persis Solo controlled the game which was supervised by referee Thoriq M Alkatiri.
The appearance of the squad nicknamed Laskar Sambernyawa sent several threatening kicks towards the hosts’ goal, Arema FC.
The opportunities for brilliant goals were created by Sutanto Tan and Ramadhan.
Even so, the home team, nicknamed Singo Crazy, took the lead 2-0 after being awarded a penalty because the referee successively assessed that Persis Solo players had committed violations which resulted in yellow cards.
The penalty kick executed by Dedik successfully broke through Persis’ goal in the 9th minute and the second penalty goal was created through the feet of Arema’s new player, Alvarez in the 14th minute.
Even so, the opposing squad coached by Leonardo Medina Arellano did not want to give up and attacked back.
Persis Solo striker Ramadhan’s direct kick in the 17th minute hit the goal which was closely guarded by Julian Garcia Schwarzer.
This beautiful goal was created after striker number 99 received a pass from his friend, David Gonzales Gomes.
