The Istat data speak for themselves, the pandemic caused by Covid-19 has worsened the already delicate issue relating to unemployment in Italy. The numbers recorded in the second quarter of 2020 speak of 2,057,000 unemployed. Inactive people aged between 15 and 64 increased by 5.5 percentage points compared to the previous quarter. A large slice of the victims of the “work system” is made up of young people. In fact, the employment rate of the 15-34 age group dropped to 39.1%.
That it was not easy for the youngest to enter the world of work is certainly not new. However, from time to time there are also some opportunities to be seized. So, are you young and want to create your own entrepreneurial reality? Here is the support the state offers you now.
The project
The project started on 15 September “Invitalia #oncampus” which has the task of promoting youth entrepreneurship in universities throughout Italy. The initiative, which sees the involvement of over 40 Italian universities, was carried out in synergy with Emblema, an educational enterprise aimed at promoting the development and enhancement of human capital, through training and research courses.
Who can participate in the project
All students, undergraduates, graduates, PhD students and PhDs who have the desire to enter the entrepreneurial sector can participate.
What is “Invitalia #oncampus”
The Invitalia team has made available important professionals who will juggle some training and cognitive meetings, strictly online given the anti-contagion regulations in force.
The coaching sessions are aimed at increasing and showing young people the possibilities of doing business today, clarifying the rules and facilitations that can be implemented on new ideas and initiatives.
Stages
Two of the five stages scheduled for this 2020 were held for the universities of the Northeast area, involving the universities of Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto (on 15 September 2020). And again on 17 September the project was addressed to the universities of the central area (Lazio, Marche, Tuscany, Umbria).
It is possible to book for the meeting on 1 October for the Northwest area (Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta), for the one on 2 October for the South area (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Molise, Puglia) and finally for the last meeting scheduled for 12 October and dedicated to the universities present in the Islands area (Sardinia and Sicily).
