(CRHoy.com) As of November 8, 2021, foreign travelers must present a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 to the airline before traveling to the US
This was confirmed by the embassy of that country in Costa Rica this morning through its social networks.
The required proof of vaccination may be a printed or digital document issued by an official source.
The Embassy was clear that they will be accepted all vaccines with FDA approval or clearance and all vaccines on the World Health Organization (WHO) emergency use list.
That includes Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson y AstraZeneca. If you have received one dose of Pfizer and another of AstraZeneca, it will also be accepted.
They will also have exceptions for children under 18 years of age, people medically unable to receive the vaccine, and emergency travelers who do not have timely access to a vaccine.
