Are You Positive for Covid But Can’t Get Free Medicine? This is the solution

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia The government will actually provide free medicine to Indonesian people who are positive for the Covid-19 virus. However, there are still many people who complain that they have not received the drug even though they are in self-isolation.

Don’t worry, now this doctor’s consultation service and free drug package delivery can be used by patients with a positive COVID-19 RDT Antigen test result.

“We added another feature to the telemedicine service, starting this afternoon (16/2) we will also cover patients who have tested positive for antigen labs,” said Expert Staff of the Minister of Health for Health Technology, Setiaji on the official website of the Ministry of Health, quoted on Saturday (19/19/2020). 2/2022).

To obtain this service, patients must perform an RDT-Antigen examination at a health facility or laboratory affiliated with the Ministry of Health’s NAR system.

If the RDT-antigen result is positive, the health facility and the examining lab must input the results into the Ministry of Health’s Antigen NAR. Next, the patient will automatically get a WA Confirmation. However, if you don’t get a WA, the patient can check the NIK manually at https://isoman.kemkes.go.id/

The confirmation WA can be used to consult a doctor and redeem for free medicine. The drugs are provided by Kimia Farma and delivered by SiCepat.

“Currently we have accelerated this service, so that a maximum of 24 hours has arrived at the patient’s house who is doing isomanism,” he said.

In addition to adding features, the Ministry of Health will also expand telemedicine services for self-isolated patients outside Java-Bali, namely Medan, Palembang, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Manado and Makassar.

For information, telemedicine services are here to make it easier for isoman patients to get health services and access medicines with minimal health risks. Currently there are a total of 17 platforms that provide telemedicine services.

On the other hand, the Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Vaccination of the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi said, the public can take advantage of health services at the nearest puskesmas.

In this case, family members or closest relatives of Covid-19 patients can go to the puskesmas with positive rapid antigen or PCR swab results to get medicine and direct consultation services.

Nadia explained, when the puskesmas received the results of the swab, health workers at the puskesmas could immediately check data and information by asking for the contact number of a Covid-19 patient to conduct a teleconsultation to ensure the patient was self-isolating or centrally isolated (isoman/isoter). for asymptomatic and mild symptomatic patients. Meanwhile, patients with moderate and severe symptoms received further treatment at the hospital.

“For those without symptoms and mild symptoms, they will receive the same drug packages as those given through telemedicine services. In fact, they can get more medicine, for example fever-reducing drugs and others because of direct consultation from the puskesmas and the availability of other additional medicines,” said Nadia.

He added that the role of this puskesmas can also be utilized by Covid-19 patients who carry out examinations at the NAR network laboratory who have not received drug packages due to delays.

Nadia said, the delay in the drug package was because the laboratory was late in entering data for Covid-19 patients into the NAR application. The reason is, not all laboratories connected to NAR can perform direct integration. This causes the drug package to be late.

For this reason, Nadia encourages laboratories not to delay the input of positive patient data, so that the data can be processed with the help of robots to be forwarded to the telemedicine platform.

According to Nadia, reports of delays in regular medicine are 3-4 days, if it exceeds that duration there are other obstacles in the field such as differences in residential addresses or contact numbers listed do not have WhatsApp, so the drug packages do not reach the patient’s house.

Meanwhile, health services are prepared by the Ministry of Health using the WhatsApp feature. Positive patients receive information via WhatsApp messages from the Indonesian Ministry of Health with a green tick automatically.

Nadia explained that if the patient did not receive a WhatsApp notification, the patient could check his NIK independently on the https://isoman.kemkes.go.id site.

For this reason, Nadia advises patients who have not received the drug package to come directly to the puskesmas to get treatment as soon as possible.

“Just go to the puskesmas if there is a telemedicine jam, because the telemedicine system only helps and eases the handling at the puskesmas. However, if you can’t get it, you can certainly return to the puskesmas,” he said.
