FIBER one of the nutrients needed by the body. If you are deficient in fiber, there are many recognizable signs.
If you want to lose weight, eat high-fiber foods. Get it from nuts, seeds, broccoli, and spinach.
You need 14 grams of fiber per 1,000 calories each day. According to nutritionist Padma Scarf, there are many signs that your body is not getting enough fiber gathered from various sources.
1. Often hungry
Foods rich in fiber are healthier than foods rich in carbohydrates. When soluble fiber is consumed, a gelatinous material is formed which becomes the digestive tract. When you eat fiber sources, you won’t go hungry quickly. But if you eat a carbohydrate source, you’re actually hungry even if you only ate a few hours earlier.
2. Lack of energy
When you eat a lot of simple carbohydrates, there is a rapid spike in blood sugar after eating. Your body then produces more insulin which results in a lack of energy. When you eat high-fiber foods, your blood sugar level rises more slowly. Therefore, don’t be deprived of eating sources of fiber every day.
3. Difficult to defecate
Fiber intake is very good for smoothing the digestive system. If you don’t eat enough fiber, you will have a hard time defecating. As a result, the stomach becomes heartburn and cannot defecate. So, adjust your diet every day by adding fruits and vegetables to your food plate.
