Are you copying the old OnePlust from Carl Pei’s new company?

The Nothing phone (1) is coming this summer, and it very much looks like Carl Pei is bringing the old OnePlust back under a new name.

Ever since Oppo merged OnePlust, the image and popularity of the once-so-popular brand has plummeted for a number of reasons. It doesn’t help that the brand’s future seems a little uncertain; new models are lagging behind in the international market; more of the Nord models light up; the system code was merged with the Oppo solution; under the new strategy, they will be dumping and 6 new mobile phones will be launched by September.

The changes began when co-founder Carl Pei left the company. Eventually, he founded a company called Nothing, which so far had only one headset, but everyone was waiting for him to copy OnePlust, the old one. It looks like now: the Nothing phone (1) will be the manufacturer’s first mobile, with Pei saying it will be the most attractive alternative to Apple, with seamlessly interoperable features and products.

The minimalist Nothing OS interface is being pulled for Android, according to Pei, shaking the sleeping mobile market, offering better value for money and a special design. The phone (1) will feature a Snapdragon chip, but will also include Samsung, Sony and Visionox components.

More details about the mobile coming this summer will be shared in the future, with 3 new Android and 4 years of security support. The back cover will probably be translucent. In addition to the dot-matrix, minimalist design, they promise a lightning-fast, smooth experience.
