On the eve of the fight, as well as before any solid tournament, the athletes had a battle of opinions. But the event with the participation of such fighters could not do without excesses. Emelianenko Jr. decided to test his opponent’s nerves and muscles for strength a few days before the fight began.
Prepare for the long-awaited battle
The preparation of both fighters for this confrontation was equally well covered in the media space. Athletes shared video posts with the public on social networks almost daily. For a high-quality training, Emelianenko even went to Yekaterinburg, where he not only prepared for the upcoming battle, but also corrected his ill health, which had suffered regular violations of the regime.
Datsik also managed to hold several fights during this period. Twice he entered the ring, once again he faced the legendary veteran of mixed martial arts Jefu Monsonu in an octagon.
“Are you afraid, Datsik? Honestly”
A battle of opinions was scheduled for 21 September. The rivals came to the event in suits. When they came face to face, the first embarrassment occurred. Due to Datsik’s excess weight, rivals could not get close enough, at least Emelianenko referred to this.
– He won’t come close at all. Datsik’s stomach protrudes, – Alexander declared aloud to the press.
Red-haired Tarzan responded with a traditional smile, which was covered by the athlete’s beard. But even at this moment, Emelianenko found a way to offend his opponent.
Why do you growl all the time? Dog what? – Emelianenko asked Datsik with a light tease, receiving only silence in response.
For a few seconds, the opponents looked at each other in silence. But the former could not stand Alexander again.
– Scary, Datsik? Tell me honestly, – the newly minted phoenix was joking with the opponent.
“It will be scary for you to wake up,” Red Tarzan responded to the taunt with a smile.
After this dialogue, the rivals turned to face the audience. Emelianenko became in a fighting stance, and Datsik began banging his fists on his palms, changing hands. In this situation, Alexander found nothing better than hitting the opponent in the shoulder. True, Phoenix didn’t invest in the heist.
Datsik did not succumb to another provocation from the opponent. He abruptly responded to Alexander’s antics.
Do mosquitoes fly around here? Red Tarzan asked, stroking his slapped hand.
The entire audience present at the event laughed cheerfully at what had happened.
The fighters that night weren’t prepared for a tough confrontation, which often happens before fights in modern tournaments. They decided to shake hands, showing mutual respect.
