Shortly before the start of the new 2024 season, which starts on 6 September (CET), SPORTS1 a closer look at the German players who will be playing in the coming season.

The best known names are Amon-Ra St. Brown, who already caused a sensation last season and is one of the league’s rising stars, from the Detroit Lions and Jakob Johnson from the New York Giants.

Johnson has earned a place on the Giants’ roster with his robust style of play. But the two are by no means the only Germans in the NFL. Players like Equanimeous St. Brown, Kilian Zierer and Lorenz Metz also bring German class to the American football field.
