However there is no evidence linking oysters with increased sexual drive.

But these mollusks do contain lots of zinc, a nutrient needed to produce testosterone.
Other sources of zinc are red meat, whole grains like pumpkin, nuts like cashews, milk and cheese.

Eating dark chocolate can trigger feelings when falling in love, according to the researchers, because it is the “love chemical” phenylethylamine (PEA).
PEA – which occurs in the first months of intercourse – triggers the release of the feel-good hormone dopamine and stimulates the pleasure centers in the brain.
But there is very little PEA in chocolate and there is doubt whether it remains active when eaten.
Cocoa also contains the amino acid tryptophan, which increases blood flow and serotonin levels (another “happiness hormone”).
