Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of the Interior’s agency for the Civil Status has revealed that it is not mandatory to wear the shemagh and headband in case of wish to issue a national identity card for children under 15.
He added, the issuance of national identity is mandatory at the age of 15 and optional between the ages of 10 and 15 and the presence of the father or mother is required.
And he continued, an appointment can be booked through the applicant’s civil registry.
