From registration rights when buying a single house decrease from January 1, 2022 from 6 percent to 3 percent. At the same time, the rate is increased for those who buy a second, third, fourth… home. For the sake of completeness, it will be the date of the deed that counts, not the compromise.
In concrete terms: for a sole and own house or apartment of, for example, 250,000 euros, you currently pay 6 percent in registration fees in Flanders, or 15,000 euros. That amount would decrease to 7,500 euros.
