ARD’s “Tatort” Takes on the Gaming World in Munich: “Game Over”

ARD could hardly have broadcast a “crime scene” more appropriately on the day. One day after Bayern’s bankruptcy against Leipzig and only a few minutes after Dortmund’s grandiose storm to the top of the table, ARD shows the “crime scene” from Munich with the title “Game Over”.

However, a scene in which the past made its way back into the present caused excitement among the numerous “Tatort” fans on Twitter. Gamer Oskar (played by Yuri Völsch), who dreams of a great Counter-Strike career, should grant the commissioners access to this world. But his mother (played by Marie Burchard) does not like his career aspirations. And so, in the argument between Oskar’s mother and father (played by “Stromberg” star Oliver Wnuk), the song “Creep” by the band Radiohead suddenly sounds.
