Archie Cruz on the wedding: The church reservation must be canceled – 2024-08-12 13:35:48

The wedding of musician Archie Cruz and media personality Iida Vainio planned for August has been postponed.

Last fall, the couple said they would celebrate their wedding already in May of this year. Later, in an interview with Radio Rock, Vainio said that the wedding would take place on August 17, i.e. in about a week.

Now the groom confirms to Iltalehti that the wedding has been postponed again.

– Actually, today the priest called to say “hey, I’ll ordain you next week”. Then I realized that we still have the church booked and we have to cancel it, Cruz said on Wednesday.

He says that there was simply no time to organize the wedding for this summer.

– There was no time or resources to invest in getting the kind of wedding we wanted for August.

Based on this information, the wedding could take place next spring at the earliest.

– There is no pressing need to get married so quickly. I prefer to do it calmly and properly. However, there is only one wedding, Cruz reasons.

Kuosmanen and Vainio met each other Farm Finland – on the set of the program last year. Messages had been exchanged between the two before filming, and emotions were running high already on the way to the farm.

Cruz got down on one knee and asked Vainiota to be his wife already during the shooting of the final episode of the program, after which the engagement was canceled and also returned.

According to Cruz, the couple’s hopes for the love party include at least a nice setting, lots of guests and good artists as performers.

Next year there will be more big things than a wedding, because he is currently working on a record. The release date of the Finnish-language album is tentatively set for next fall.

Archie comments on spring’s criminal charges

In May, it was reported that Archie Cruzia was living under his real name Arttu Kuosma charged with two counts of unlawful threats, resisting a law enforcement officer and defamation.

The suspected crimes took place in 2023 and the matter was brought up in the Helsinki district court in April.

Cruz says that the case has not progressed so far.

– I strive for mediation in that matter. I hope it turns out well, because I think it’s pointless to go to court over such a small matter, he commented.

Cruz described the events to Iltalehti fresh in May.

– Here was a situation a year ago where I feel that I have been treated unfairly. I have been removed from the event for no reason and two people have used too much violence towards me, he said at the time.

Cruz is only accused in the case, not the victim of any suspected crime.
