Kannur> Archbishop Joseph Pamplani says genocide is happening in Manipur. Joseph Pamplani said that the central and state governments have failed to stop the riots and that the riots have spread by targeting Christian churches and that the Manipur riots are like the 2002 Gujarat genocide. Joseph Pamplani asked if the Prime Minister went to America and said that there is no discrimination, but can the Prime Minister tell the Christians of Manipur about this? Joseph Pamplani said that minority poaching is happening elsewhere and the riots in Manipur are state-sponsored. Bishop’s announcement was that he would support the BJP if it helped the rubber farmers.
