It should be remembered that on September 30, when the Ministry of Finance presented the 2025 budget project, it was announced that the Health and Education ranks would be frozen.
“I have heard reactions that say that the ranks have to be earned, but it is good that there is that incentive and for me that the case is studied,” Alas reiterated.
The archbishop, when asked whether the Assembly’s Finance Commission should listen to the sectors involved (affected teachers and doctors), reiterated that “a comprehensive study must be carried out and also consult the people, it is always important.”
“I believe that all these things occur, it is appropriate that they lead to a review of the situation, of the laws so that we have better practice, that is what I would say, not to remove it, but to review it so that it is truly fair and effective, that comes to benefit, perhaps it is not automatic, but it is reviewed and the people are listened to,” Alas concluded.
