Some 75 people have participated in the solidarity march held this afternoon in Arcenillas for the “Breast Cancer Project” in which all proceeds will be donated in full to the Salamanca Cancer Research Center, a center with twenty years of experience in the investigation of this disease.
A splendid afternoon has accompanied the walkers along 3 kilometers of route, from the Plaza Mayor to the Caño descent, the La Anguila road, Villaralbo street, La Cruz street, Las Bodegas street, cemetery, Gema street, street Long, Calle Escuelas, Avenida de San Antón to the fronton, Calle Los Pinos, Calle Las Mayas, Calle Morales, Calle Santa Marina and it reaches the Plaza Mayor again, where it ends.
The Cancer Research Center has made numerous advances in the fight against this disease since it began its activity two decades ago, since when more than two hundred researchers have passed through its laboratories.
