President Luis Arce announced yesterday, Saturday, on his Twitter account, that the Mexican government donated 150,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which will be sent to the country through the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac).
“We value the solidarity of the brother government and people of Mexico for their donation to Bolivia, through Celac, of another 150,000 doses of AstraZeneca produced in that country, ”the president tweeted.

The vaccines will arrive this Sunday, at 3:00 p.m., in the city of El Alto.
This cargo will be received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Mayta, the Minister of Health, Jeyson Auza and the ambassador of Mexico, María Teresa Mercado, among other authorities, according to the agency ABI.
According to a report from the Ministry of Health, until September 10, 3,306,506 people were immunized with first doses and 2,961,884 with second.
