As part of State of Play, IllFonic has unveiled a new swirling, colorful multis creation Arcadegeddon which is already available for early access to PC and PlayStation 5. A studio staff member said the game was practically saved from the throat of death along with the developers. After receiving the news at the end of last year that they canceled the project, they met with IllFonic’s management and decided that if they didn’t go otherwise, they would go through it themselves and give out their vision, which they really thought was a really fun and unique experience.

Inspired by punk rock bands from Muppets, Gorillaz and the ’90s, a local arcade owner, Gilly, is trying to save his business from a faceless giant that combines the best arcade games into a single superplay. Unfortunately, however, the evil Fun Fun Co. is breaking into the game and infecting us with a virus, and it is up to us and our friends to save Gilly along with his business.
