through Arpa Fvg, promotes many activities? of education
environmental, from childhood to university:
Who better than the Pallacanestro Trieste champions can?
testify not only to the healthy values of sport but also those of
good for the environment? For this reason we are here today
support once more? the team.”
This was stated by the regional councilor for environmental protection
Fabio Scoccimarro illustrating the “Ecodunk –
slamming for sustainability”, part of the pi? broad “Basketball
Trieste Goes Green”, a project that will see is the company busy?
in the coming years in a transformation in terms of
sustainability environmental of both its structures and its
activity? and that today in the match against Reggio Emilia,
called “One Planet Only Game” finds a tip.
“The Region – recalled Scoccimarro –? engaged in
360 promotion of sport? in Trieste both with
the infrastructure of systems that are being built by a few
kilometers from PalaTrieste to meet the needs of
all companies, most of them? small to the smallest large, both with the
sponsorship of realities? professional like
Trieste Basketball why? they are our business card
in Italy and, hopefully also in Europe: Trieste is a candidate as a hub
of sporting excellence not only in Italy, after all”.
Upon arrival at the PalaTrieste all the red and white fans have
found on the seat a bag created in collaboration with
Eco FVG, Arpa Fvg, Edilmaster and the association “Il Cuore in
Field”; inside the bag there was a leaflet illustrating
the correct mode? of waste disposal thanks
to the visual aid of scoreboards and baskets positioned above the
collection baskets.
The initiative started in September? more articulated events,
made possible thanks to the collaboration of Arpa FVG and Eco Fvg,
by One Ocean Foundation, by the contribution of ITS Ecologia,
to Edilmaster’s commitment | The Building School of Trieste, The Heart
in Campo” and the participation of Famiglia e Salute Odv.
Today the boys who on September 24th were also rewarded
last year they were able to visit the ITS Ecologia headquarters to touch
firsthand what the cycle of waste is that is collected every
day and conceive, using recycled materials, little ones
artistic objects and those that have during Barcolana
participated in a workshop led by Marco Svara di
Edilmaster | The Building School of Trieste, in company of
mascot Morbin, dedicated to raising awareness on the topic of
sustainability environmental. During this workshop, the little ones
ecologists have created “billboards” with an artistic touch
to spread the rules for correctly separating waste
time of delivery.
The program of the first meeting, which involved 60 young people
of the Family and Health Odv association, ? been dedicated
to increase knowledge on topics related to
sustainability and the protection of marine ecosystems, with
insights by ITS Ecologia and One Ocean Foundation.
The second meeting, in collaboration with ITS Ecologia, saw
the boys engaged together with the Pallacanestro Trieste players
in waste collection on the banks in front of Piazza Unit?:
part of the waste collected during the day was then
preserved by Edilmaster | The Building School of Trieste, which with the
artistic contribution of Professor Marco Svara, were
transformed in the weeks following the PalaTrieste and in the
home of the school, into real gems over the course of four
creative workshop appointments together with the children of
Family and Health Odv.
