Around seven decades dedicated to acting on stage, in which he has shown his versatility by interpreting various characters –especially the villains of the plots– support the decision to award the 2023 National Theater Award to Aramís Delgado.
Yesterday, just on Cuban Theater Day, the award was given to one of the most popular artists on the national scene, whose memorable performances are part of not only the history of theater in the Greater Antilles, but also of the memory of this town.
Although film and television are no strangers to him, his start in the artistic universe was precisely as a theater performer. He had the good fortune to be part of groups such as Rita Montaner, Los Doce and Teatro Estudio, guided by figures such as Raquel and Vicente Revuelta, Héctor Quintero, Abelardo Estorino and José Antonio Rodríguez.
By recognizing with this award the work of a lifetime, the dedication of so many years to an artist of high stature is rewarded.
