Several people arrived at the Arad County Emergency Clinical Hospital with COVID-19 after they have vaccinated with the first dose serum against the new coronavirus.
The doctors took samples and sent them to the Cantacuzino Institute for sequencing, so that it could be seen exactly what kind of virus the patients had become infected with.
The spokesperson of the Arad County Emergency Clinical Hospital, Simina Roz:
“At the level of the Arad Emergency Clinical Hospital, 11 patients were hospitalized, diagnosed with the SARS VOC 2 virus, after being vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine. These patients have developed moderate forms of the disease. “
According to some information, in the county there are more than 11 people who became ill after vaccination, some even after the booster, but they made light forms, which do not require hospitalization.
Doctors say that vaccination is not a cause for panic. The first effects of the vaccine appear at least 5 days after the first dose, and the full effects appear 2 weeks after the final dose. And even then, patients who get sick should not be scared because once immunized they make easier forms than if they had not been vaccinated.
