Arabic Expert Calls Apple’s New Releases ‘Somewhat Disappointing’

Arabic expert: Apple’s new releases are “somewhat disappointing”Apple, the world’s most valuable company, unveiled new iPhone models on Tuesday, and things went as expected. The only surprise was that the price of the “iPhone Pro” did not increase, which is largely what analysts expected, even though the company raised the initial price of the “Pro Max” device by $100.

Apple shares fell at the end of trading yesterday, Wednesday, by 1.19%, or $2.09, to the level of $174.2.

In an interview with Al Arabiya, the chief advisor at MAG Consulting, Ayman Al-Bannau, described Apple’s new releases as something “somewhat frustrating.”

Al-Bannau said that “Apple” is retreating in the world of phones, which started with the “iPhone 14” phone, explaining: “Apple” was late in the foldable screen mobile phone, which affects it, as the consumer needs a strong reason to upgrade his phone, which is what the company failed to do. The only advantage can be considered to be converting the charger cable to USB, which came as a result of pressure from the European Union.”

He continued: “The consumer has become more cautious and smarter, and we always expect creativity and newness from Apple, which did not happen in the new releases, and this was reflected in the performance of the company’s shares, which recorded a decline.”

He pointed out that Apple is facing challenges, as iPhone sales declined by 2%, and iPad sales by about 20%.
