ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2020 (WAM) — The Arab Cycling Federation announced the holding of the Arab Road Bike Championship in Abha, Saudi Arabia, from September 12 to 18.
On the sidelines of the championship, the periodic meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab Cycling Federation will be held on September 12th.
Counselor Ismail Salem Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the Federation, confirmed that the tournament is dedicated to both male and female categories, for all age groups, “adults, youth, juniors, elite females, young women and youths.”
He explained that the technical meeting for the championship will be held on the afternoon of September 12, to inform the participants of the latest details related to the race and the scheduled equipment.
He pointed to the keenness of the Arab Cycling Federation, headed by Sheikh Faisal bin Humaid Al Qasimi, and members of the Board of Directors to consolidate best practices, to support the success of the championships organized by the federation, to upgrade the game system at the Arab level, and to develop the capabilities of riders in various age groups.
