Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Post-Credits Scene Revealed: What It Means for the Future of DC Universe

MEXICO CITY.- Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom hits theaters this weekend. Starring Jason Momoa, this film marks the end of Zack Snyder’s era at the head of the DC Extended Universe, so there are many people who wonder if this film will have a post-credits scene, since the story of all the characters that we have seen will no longer continue.

Despite being the last film of this era of DC, the film does have a post-credits scene and here we tell you what it is about.

(SPOILER ALERT)
The sequence does not feature Aquaman, but rather his brother, Orm. The character played by Patrick Wilson is sitting alone in a restaurant on the bay eating a cheeseburger, as his brother advised him when telling him about the pleasures of the surface.

A few seconds later, a small cockroach appears on the table. After looking at it, Orm takes it, puts it inside the hamburger and continues tasting her food.

That comic gag is actually a reference to a scene within the film. In the film, when Orm surfaces for the first time, his brother tricks him, assuring him that cockroaches are delicious food. Wilson’s character innocently eats one as Aquaman watches in disgust.

The significance of the scene does not go beyond prolonging a funny moment in the film. Unlike previous projects, no cameo from any other DC character has been included, nor has any important moment or dialogue that could alter the future of the franchise been included.
