Apt. Apt dance in New York

“An unforgettable week, writes Simon dancer from the Preljocaj ballet, a complete immersion in the world of dance in New York! On the program, technical lessons with the American Swiss Ballet company, the Musical show on Broadway “Moulin Rouge” from Baz Luhrmann’s film, “La Belle aux bois dormants” at the New York City Ballet… We all had a great time!! ! »

Vaitea expressed: “What I liked in New York is this excess, everything is grandiose. At 3 years old I started dance lessons and in 6e , I went back to “dance artistic class”. I lived my college years well, because I felt good with the dance class, which, for four years, brought me more than just friendships. We created some great links and I hope that other students will have the chance to experience that. Dancing allowed me to have confidence in myself, to learn and to see new things. And the trip to New York brings me a lot…”

As for Achille, the only boy on the trip, he admits: “I have been in artistic dance class for 4 years and I have been dancing since the age of 8. To end this artistic course, my class went to New York. We had the chance to take lessons with professional dancers from the American Swiss Ballet School. We were immersed with talented professional dancers. The magic moments of this week were to attend the “Moulin Rouge” show at Broadway, an extraordinary atmosphere with sparkling decorations, amazingly creative singers and dancers. I do not know if one day I will be a dancer, but I know that I will have had the immense chance in my life to live all these years of dance with my teachers: Simon who always knew how to encourage me as a young dancer and Tiphaine our professor director of the CAD”.
