The Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ALF) declares its categorical support for the PP-DB declaration to create a sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski. As well as – his support for full cashing of the elections. This became clear at a formation briefing.
“This declaration is not just an act of a political position, but a step forward in affirming the principles of the authentic DPS, which the leader Ahmed Dogan has been talking about for several months,” noted Valentin Tonchev.
According to him, the declaration should be expanded to cover the most sensitive issues for society. Tonchev emphasized that they will insist on the establishment of a temporary commission to examine the role of Delyan Peevski in the events surrounding KTB, Bulgartabac, BBR, the “Eight Dwarfs” scandal, as well as his influence in the prosecution and in the judicial system.
He also noted that he urgently needs to start the procedure for the election of an ombudsman and deputies in the Audit Chamber to ensure that any subsequent elections “will not be manipulated by a double tandem of political puppets”.

APS calls on the president to refer the election violations to the Constitutional Court.
Tonchev added that they believe the declaration should be expanded.

“Let our democracy not be reduced to a tool in the hands of forces whose purpose is destruction. When the house of Bulgaria is facing a fire, every honest hand must be extended to save it,” Tonchev also stated.
After him, Jevdet Chakarov took the floor, according to whom “the situation we are in is unprecedented” due to election violations. “There is vote substitution in all aspects. And this is not permissible,” Chakarov pointed out and called for action by the responsible institutions.
