Hanoi (VNA) – Under the theme “Connecting space innovation opportunities for a sustainable and prosperous future”, the 28th session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (28th Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum – APRSAF – 28) on November 17 in Hanoi.
In his opening speech, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology President Chau Van Minh expressed the belief that research and application experiences of space technologies will be shared by delegates to continue cooperation and build an aerospace community. stronger and more cohesive in the region.
L’APRSAF-28 focuses on two main goals: sharing and updating information about space activities and future plans for each country and region Asia Pacific ; discuss and research opportunities for international cooperation among APRSAF members.
Delegates discuss these key goals during two plenary sessions on ‘The Challenge of Satellite Applications for Space Innovation in Asia-Pacific’ and ‘Creating an Innovation Environment to Achieve Sustainable and Prosperous Development’.
Jointly organized byVietnam Academy of Science and Technologythe Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the event will be held from November 15 to 18.
It attracts the participation of more than 350 delegates from 34 countries and territories from space agencies, government organizations, international organizations, private companies, universities and research institutes. -VNA
