The premium scooter segment is getting busier with the presence of the Aprilia SR-GT 200. With a sporty design and offering the right performance for adventurers, the Aprilia SR-GT 200 is ready to fight with rivals like the Honda ADV 160.

Starting from the front, there is a cluster of three full LED lights. This is a characteristic of Aprilia motorcycles. Then there is also a double fairing that appears on the side of the protector. Aprilia also embeds a wide open windshield and handlebar so that the rider has full control of the motorbike, especially when maneuvering.
From the side the Aprilia SR-GT looks slim and sleek with reduced overhangs. The sporty impression is very obvious from the dynamic lines on the side of the motorbike. Meanwhile, the agile impression can also be seen from the middle column that connects the front and rear. The seat of the Aprilia SR-GT is slightly pulled back to add an ‘active and ready’ impression.

Aprilia mounts a dual-seat frame in a high-strength steel tube paired with a new long-range suspension. Thanks to the chassis development, the Aprilia SR-GT 200 weighs only 148 kg when the tank is full. Aprilia SR-GT 200 uses light alloy wheels measuring 14 inches at the front and 13 inches at the rear. While the tire sizes are 110/80 and 130/70.
The braking system of the Aprilia SR-GT 200 uses a 260 mm petal front disc, which feels lighter and is better able to dissipate heat, resulting in better performance. While the rear is equipped with a 220 mm disc (petal-shaped for the Sport version).
The Aprilia SR-GT also stands out with a minimum ground clearance of 175 mm, an unprecedented achievement for the premium scooter segment.
Machine
From the kitchen spur, the Aprilia SR-GT 200 carries a single-cylinder i-get engine with a capacity of 174 cc. The engine is capable of spitting out 13 kW of power at 8,500 rpm and 16.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
In terms of features, the Aprilia SR-GT 200 is equipped with a Start/stop system called RISS (Regualtor Inverter Start & Stop System). The engine will also automatically shut off in 1 to 5 seconds after the scooter stops. Then when the motor is gassed again, it immediately turns on automatically. The existence of this system allows the motor to no longer need a crankshaft like the old scooters.
Type
There are two types of Aprilia SR-GT 200 offered, namely the Standard and Sport versions. For the SR-GT 200 the Standard variant comes in three colors namely Aprilia Black, Street Gray, and Infinity Blue. Each is paired with silver gray foot pegs, side and passenger handrails. While the wheels and saddle are black with gray stitching.
While the Aprilia SR-GT 200 Sport variant is offered with a choice of Street Gold, Iridium Gray, and Red Raceway colors. Everything is combined with red-painted wheels and a black and gray two-tone saddle with red stitching. The silver gray foot pegs feature Aprilia lettering, while the center and side columns are matte black, with passenger grips to match the bike. A large ‘a’ for Aprilia features was also added on the side of the shield.
