In Press conference, it was announced that 18 entities register the yellow color (medium risk), and 7 plus the orange color of the traffic light: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Chihuahua, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Puebla and Yucatán.

For the third consecutive update, there are no entities located in the red color of the epidemiological traffic light (maximum risk).

Although there is a reduction of the epidemic at the national level, federal health authorities presented a decalogue “for a safe vacation” during Holy Week.

The 10 measures were presented by the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, on March 23.

Below is the decalogue presented by the Health authorities:

  1. Enjoy the walk with your family near your home.
  2. Take advantage of the greater week to spend time with your family.
  3. Go to places with few people.
  4. If you go out, do it in groups of maximum 5 people and choose places outdoors with good ventilation.
  5. Try to go out at times when there are fewer people and go home to sleep.
  6. With family or friends have safe encounters: maximum 8 people, healthy distance.
  7. If you participate in religious events, do it from home.
  8. Protect yourself from the heat, wear light clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and hydrate yourself.
  9. Follow the basic prevention measures: healthy distance, correct use of mask, and frequent hand washing.
  10. If possible, stay home.

Undersecretary López-Gatell emphasized respecting the healthy distance measures and looking for places with less influx of people.
