The pressure in the care sector has not just been high since the beginning of the pandemic: By 2030, more than 75,000 additional care workers will be needed, according to a study by Gesundheit Österreich GmbH on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs. The nursing staff themselves are often at their limit: insufficient wages, lack of appreciation, lack of staff and high work and psychological stress are given as reasons for wanting to change jobs. How can you improve the situation for caregivers – from stationary, mobile, to care by relatives – and for the people being cared for themselves?
