Approval Granted for Dietikon City Festival 2025 Loan Application

The Council Dietikon got the for that City Festival 2025 required loan application approved. According to media release the maximum municipal contribution to financing has been set at 420,000 francs. For reasons of credit law, the municipal council had applied for a gross credit of CHF 987,300 for the implementation. This was approved unanimously by the municipal council.

The city of Dietikon is planning the second big three-day city festival for September 5th to 7th, 2025. The last big city festival took place in 2018 and was a great success. The festival area consists of four fairgrounds with three large stages and a chilbi. According to the announcement, the connection between the districts is the overriding goal of the city festival. It is intended to promote social cohesion and exchange between the population, clubs, companies and politics. This should happen in an entertaining setting, with attractions, delicious cuisine and a varied stage program.

For the organization, mostly experienced people were brought into the team, who had already participated in the last city festival. The nine-strong organizing committee consists of city employees and external specialists. Roger Bachmann is President of the OK, Irene Brioschi is responsible for project management and stage programming, Alexander Carisch for sponsorship. Stefan Schmucki is responsible for the gastronomy, Sybil Schweingruber for communication, Fabian Hauser for construction and infrastructure and Stefan Haldemann for security. Karin Binder takes care of the supporting program and the clubs and Sandra Razic takes care of the helpers.

At the end of August, a first information event will be held with the clubs and organizations. ce/gba
