The Kommunale Wohnbau Hausen needs a loan for the renovation work in the area of Hebelstrasse 30/32 that began in mid-October. In order to be able to guarantee the means of payment, the local council approved a loan of 420,000 euros on November 2nd.
The administration had previously obtained offers with fixed interest rates of five, ten or 15 years, with the repayment rate for the loan being two percent. Mayor Philipp Lotter spoke of only two offers received, although more inquiries had been made. The loan was applied for as part of the 2023 budget statutes and approved by the Lörrach District Office. Accounting office manager Jörg Jost pointed this out. The deal should now take place with the cheapest provider, DZ Hyp AG from Münster in cooperation with Volksbank Dreiländereck. The local council unanimously agreed to take out the annuity loan with a term of five years and a repayment of two percent plus interest saved. Later in the meeting, the local council unanimously gave the green light to accept monetary donations in the last quarter amounting to 2,167 euros. The local council meeting was followed by the public meeting of the Lever Foundation. There, too, it was about accepting donations amounting to 438 euros, of which 102 euros were for amounts under 100 euros. The committee had no objections.
