The Italian media even detailed two contract offers submitted by the Old Lady to the attacking midfielder, who wants to stay in Europe before considering a return to Argentina to play at Rosario Central, the club of his hometown.

Di Maria would like a one-year contract before returning to Rosario Central in 2023.
