During the citizens’ hearings that took place at the San Antonio delegation, the governor, Víctor Castro Cosío, named this community the “Historic City” of Baja California Sur, a situation that will benefit the local tourism sector and maintain lives the traditions of the region of the municipality, announced the Secretary General of the Municipal Council of La Paz, Pavel Castro Ríos, on behalf of the President of the Municipality, Milena Quiroga Romero.
In this regard, he expressed “on behalf of the Municipality of La Paz we will continue to promote, carry out activities and save traditions; we offer them our support to continue walking together, because we know that by supporting the historic villages of our municipality, La Paz is possible “.
During his speech, the State Executive said that heritage conservation is sought through the Historic Cities program, as well as the salvage of traditions and customs through the improvement of infrastructure and urban image so that the roots of Southern California are widespread among international tourists. .
Also on this day the needs of the residents of the community were met, in which the commitment was made to improve the roads and start a temporary work program and rebuild the public field.
