Until November 16, 2023, the call will be open for the Line of Festivals and Trajectory Meetings of the National Fund for Performing Arts of the Ministry of Cultures, which finances projects that have a minimum of 10 editions (6 of these consecutive) and that contribute to the development, professionalization and exhibition of local creation, both in Chile and internationally.
Through this call, the Ministry and its sectoral council seek to promote lines of financing that directly benefit specific groups, in this case, festivals and meetings that throughout their history have positioned themselves as fundamental agents for the development of performing Arts.
“We invite the different casts, companies and artists of the performing arts of Ñuble, theater, opera, circus, puppets, dance and oral narration, to apply to the Performing Arts Fund that in this line recognizes the trajectory and cultural contribution to the territories of the region. In this way we continue to diversify funding sources to provide sustainability to the local cultural ecosystem,” highlighted the Seremi de las Culturas, Scarlet Hidalgo.
One of the main novelties of this call is that the financing of the projects will be carried out by direct allocation, via application. Thus, a commission of specialists will present an evaluation report to the National Council of Performing Arts, the body that will subsequently be in charge of defining the initiatives that will be awarded the funds.
The call will be open until November 16, at 5:00 p.m. For those who wish to apply, an online training will be held on October 31 at 5:00 p.m.
