Applications for the 2024 presidential elections rejected by the BEC, together with Diana Soșoacă

The Central Electoral Bureau decided, at the meeting on Sunday night, to reject the registration of several applications submitted in the last 48 hours, including the submission of the second . Diana Iovanovici-Sosoacă.

After the Constitutional Court admitted, on Saturday, with a majority of votes, the appeals were submitted by two and they dismissed the decision of the Central Electoral Bureau no. 18 / D on October 3, 2024 regarding the registration of the application and the electoral sign of Diana Iovanovici-Şoşoacă in the presidential elections, she submitted her application again, Saturday afternoon, at 11:50 pm, under conditions the date. to apply applications were to expire at 24:00, reminds Agerpres.

However, on Sunday evening, the Central Electoral Bureau rejected the registration of Diana Iovanovici-Şoşoacă’s candidacy as inadmissible.

Also at the Sunday afternoon meeting, BEC took the following decisions:

• the decision to reject the candidacy of Elena Tufecciu for the elections for the president of Romania in 2024;
• the decision regarding the refusal to register the application of Gheorghe Ghelcea, an independent candidate in the elections for the president of Romania in 2024;
• the decision to reject the registration of the independent candidacy of Ion Popa in the elections for the president of Romania in 2024;
• the decision to reject the registration of Cristina Tufănoiu’s candidacy in the elections for the presidency of Romania in 2024;
• the decision to reject the registration of Oana Creţu’s candidacy in the elections for the presidency of Romania in 2024;
• the decision to reject the registration of the independent candidacy of Ciprian Romeo Mega in the elections for the president of Romania in 2024;
• the decision to reject the registration of the independent candidacy of Petru Mîndru in the elections for the president of Romania in 2024;
• the decision regarding the refusal to register the candidacy of Răzvan-Nicolae Constantinescu in the elections for the president of Romania in 2024;
• the decision to reject the registration of Maria Marcu’s candidacy in the elections for the presidency of Romania in 2024.
