As Apple prepares for new Mac announcements this month, next year’s iPad lineup has been revealed, and Bloomberg reports that Apple is currently planning to announce… iPad The new one will be released sometime around March 2024, according to 9to5mac.
Apple has a bunch of iPad updates in the pipeline, including an M2-powered version of the iPad Air, an iPad mini with the A15 Bionic chip inside, and a spec-packed version of the entry-level iPad.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman writes that he expects iPad updates to be announced sometime next March. This gap explains why Apple launched the new Apple Pencil (USB-C) last week without requiring any new iPads to go with it.
He wrote that the company is working on a slew of models, including versions of the iPad Air, entry-level iPad, andiPad Mini With improved specs, there’s also a revamped iPad Pro in the works.
Apple is also working on a more dramatic overhaul of the iPad Pro range, which is believed to be the biggest update since the current generation debuted in 2018, and it’s unclear whether these new iPad Pro models will also launch in March or perhaps later in the year. Today’s report from Gurman simply says that Apple’s goal is to launch “more minor iPad revamps in March.”
