Just two weeks after the release of iOS 16, Apple released another subsequent update with iOS 16.0.2. The new version is expected to fix significant camera issues on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.
Apple releases iOS 16.0.2
Shortly after the delivery of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max numerous users have complained of problems with the 48 megapixel main camera of the devices. For example, within apps like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, many have not been able to take photos and videos.
According to this, the smartphone camera would vibrate uncontrollably and spin as soon as users access it within different applications. In some cases, the camera should even move in the housing. To fix the issues, Apple has now released an update with iOS 16.0.2, which is expected to fix a few other errors as well.
iOS 16.0.2: Apple fixes annoying bugs
In addition to the camera issues on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16.0.2 also fixes a bug in the device setup process. According to reports, in some cases the screen should have remained black.
With the new software, Apple also fixes a bug that caused problems with touch input in the VoiceOver function. However, according to Apple, the security-related fixes don’t appear to have been necessary for iOS 16.0.2.
For iPhone 14 only: iOS 16.0.1
With iOS 16.0.1, Apple has already released the first update for iOS 16. However, the version is an exclusive update for all iPhone 14 models. Sea of Apples iOS 16.0.1 gets some major bug fixes. Incidentally, the release is expected to fix the issues with iMessage and FaceTime activation.
Additionally, photos that the iPhone 14 Pro Max blurred in landscape format should now display correctly. Possible authentication errors using single sign-on in corporate apps should also be eliminated.
