Apple could launch new designs for its AirPods charging mode, as the technology giant obtained a new patent that describes the power source as a wristband or keyring, and the document shows images of a flexible U-shaped case in which users place AirPods on each side and close the device. .

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, Apple said that the reason behind the renewal is that some activities do not allow the use of boxes or wallets to store an electronic device, as is the case when exercising.
“Accessories for portable electronic devices that contain features to hold a user’s portable electronic device are usually bulky and may be uncomfortable, or may not provide some desirable features, such as charging capabilities,” reads the patent text titled “Wireless Headset Accessories.”

The shape of the case will be flexible or bendable, but the patent does not provide what materials it will be used for.
The first half will include a flexible battery and the other a coil that is a type of wireless power transmission.
And unlike the current AirPods charging case, the volume controls will be located on the outside and operated with the press of a finger.
