Suara.com – Apple accused of slowing down the performance of some models iPhone via the latest iOS operating system update.
As for the iPhone model that is affected by this iOS update is iPhone 8, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, and iPhone 12.
This accusation was made by the Consumer Protection Organization (Organization of Consumers and Users / OCU) Spain.
In a letter sent to Apple, they accused the company of slowing down performance through updates iOS 14.5, 14.5.1, and 14.6.

The letter is intended to hold talks with Apple and find ways to compensate affected consumers.
If Apple does not provide a satisfactory response, OCU will threaten them by filing a lawsuit.
“The letter sent was intended to engage in dialogue with Apple to find ways to compensate its consumers,” OCU wrote in the letter. NDTV, Tuesday (20/7/2021).
If Apple doesn’t respond properly, he added, other action could be taken in national courts to enforce consumer rights.
OCU writes that the iOS update has significantly damaged consumer devices.
