Uzone.id – The launch of the iPhone 15 Series which will occur soon will bring a breath of fresh air for Apple. From market analyst firm predictions, TrendForceApple will dominate the market smartphone world after they launched the iPhone 15 Series quartet.
In his report, TrendForce said that currently Samsung is still at the top of the world cellphone market by sending a total of 53.9 million cellphone units in Q2-2023, although on a quarterly basis, shipments fell by 12.4 percent.
The South Korean manufacturer also controls 19.8 percent of the market share smartphone world. Samsung actually only launched the foldable cellphone duo Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 in the third quarter, but it is not yet known how big an impact or contribution these two cellphones will have.

According to TrendForcethe second quarter is indeed a ‘lean season’ for Apple, because most potential consumers are waiting for the new iPhone series or waiting for discounts on old models.
However, Apple has a good chance of displacing Samsung from the throne smartphone globally if the iPhone 15 series outperforms market expectations.
“Interestingly, Apple and Samsung are neck and neck in their annual production projections. “If the iPhone 15 series outperforms market expectations, Apple has a good chance of knocking Samsung out of its old position as global market leader,” he explained TrendForce in his report.
This analysis is in line with the IDC report a few weeks ago. Quoted from 9to5MacIDC predicts that shipments of the iPhone 15 Series will grow by 1.1 percent this year to 19.9 percent, while setting a new shipping record.
Apple benefits because the iPhone is projected to be more resilient to macro challenges this year compared to the Android cellphone brand, whose market share is estimated to fall by 6 percent this year.
