Apple plans to hold its inaugural fall event on September 13, according to the latest report from 9to5Mac, where iPhone 15 models, along with the Apple Watch Series 9, will be the highlights of the event.
And as a reminder, the iPhone 14 was launched on September 7 last year, and pre-orders are expected to start on Friday, September 15. This year, the sale of at least one of the iPhone 15 models this year, similar to the iPhone 14 Plus, may be delayed due to a supply issue.
The new iPhone 15 series is expected to feature thinner bezels and Dynamic Island and USB-C ports, and there are also rumors of a titanium frame for the Pro models, which could lead to a price increase.
Similar to last year, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are expected to retain the A16 Bionic chip from the iPhone 14 Pro series, and the A17 chip should power the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models.
The 15 Pro Max is expected to get an upgraded camera system, as Apple plans to add a periscope camera in the iPhone for the first time, and if Apple goes with the September 13th conference, we can expect to receive official invites about a week early, perhaps in the first week of September.
