Last year, Apple got its hands on Primephonic, a streaming service focused on classical music.
Since then, Apple has been working on a new app targeting the same target group and now the work seems to be coming to an end.
According to Macrumor there are references to the Apple Music Classical app in the code of Apple’s latest software, something that speaks of a launch before the end of the year.
Compared to “normal” Apple Music, it is believed to involve expanded search functions and a more detailed view of metadata.
Apple Music Classical will likely launch in connection with a possible October event, but it could also be via a press release.
