Apple’s upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) could be its biggest event yet, with the possible launch of a mixed-reality headset, among multiple OS updates and new hardware. The “Reality Pro” headset is rumoured to feature an M2 chip with 16GB of RAM, be a stand-alone unit with a battery pack connected by special wiring, and have two 1.41-inch micro OLED panels per eye with a resolution of 4K and 5,000 nits of brightness. Supply chain expert Ross Young believes the headset is set to be priced at $3,000. The event, which follows a mix of digital and in-person formats, begins on 5 June.
