Apple Withdraws iOS 17.3 Beta Update Due to iPhone Crashing Issues

Apple withdrew the second beta version of the iOS 17.3 update, hours after its launch, due to complaints that iPhones crashed after downloading and installing the update.

Apple removed the new beta versions of iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 updates from the Developer Center, and those versions are no longer available for download and installation.

Many complaints appeared on social media sites, the official Apple technical support forum, and other specialized forums regarding the collapse of iPhone phones after installing the new version of the update, as iPhone phones became stuck in the boot loop and stopped at the beginning of operation.

This problem is disastrous for users who may not be able to use their devices again without restoring the factory settings, which leads to the deletion of all its contents and the loss of important files and data in the absence of a backup copy.

While some users reported that iPhones malfunctioning with the new update, it may be related to the “Back Tap” feature, but that matter is not yet clear in light of the lack of an official comment from Apple after the update was withdrawn.

Fortunately, the second beta version of the iOS 17.3 update was withdrawn after only three hours, and the update was only available to developers and not all users, while it is generally advised to stay away from installing beta updates on the basic devices that users rely on to avoid the occurrence of similar problems. Apple is currently testing the iOS 17.3 beta update, which will provide users with some improvements and new features, including the feature of protecting stolen phones. This was reported by Al Arabiya.
