To date, Apple choose to keep using lightning connector compared to USB Type-C on iPhone devices.
Apple’s persistence in choosing USB Lightning seems to be continuing in iPhone 14 Pro.
Reporting from iDropews (via 9to5mac), Apple will reportedly continue to use the Lightning connector for iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max devices.

The iDropNews report states that the iPhone 14 Pro will feature a Lightning USB 3.0 connector that offers faster data transfer capabilities.
The Lightning USB 3.0 connector is said to have data transfer speeds of up to 5GBps.
When compared to current lightning connectors, USB Lightning 3.0 has the ability to transfer data 10 times faster.
For information, the iPhone 13 series devices still use the Lightning 2.0 connector which has transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps only.

If the report is correct, connector lightning USB 3.0 on iPhone 14 Pro will be very useful for professionals.
